Dot Palmer

Dot was a very staunch and loyal supporter of W.A.S.C. and was a member when Skip (LTS Coach) joined the club around thirty nine years ago. It was Dot who set Skip on the way to his first official job as a time keeper.

Dot was always available to help on club nights and carnivals and always baked a cake to help raise money with raffles. Even ill health did not prevent her helping when she was able to do so and she will be sadly missed by all who had the good luck to have known her.

Dot was a Life Member of Whangarei Swimming Club, was made a Life Member of Swimming Northland in 2001 and in 2006 became a Life Member of Swimming New Zealand.
